HSG results

Hi Amy,

I had my HSG this afternoon and I agree with you the IUI was far worse. I had this done a year ago, so I knew what to expect. I got some good news and bad news. The good news is my tubes are open. The bad news is my RE found a polyp that needs to be removed or it could increase chances of miscarriage. Also, he thinks tha my uterus has a septum. This has to do with the lining and shape. All of this is so complicated. He said he will do hysteroscopy to look and fix these minor problems. My Dr. says that this doesn't have anything to do with me getting pregnant. I will have a sono when I have a positive surge and then DH and I will decide whether we will have an IUI this month. I think my RE said if the egg implants near the polyp it could miscarry.

Your plan sounds great. I have read many stories about woman getting pregnant while waiting for IVF. It is always good tohave a plan. I have been on clomid for 6 months and my RE says I should continue to take it as long as I'm ovulating with it. I don't like taking it for so long. Thanks for listening.
