I tried Clomid for five rounds. It didn't work for me. My OB sent me to a fertility center. I took one month off, then started on Gonal-F shots every other day. I took 5 shots. I took me until day 24 to ovulate. They performed an IUI. I took a pregnancy test four days ago and it came out negative. With my sisters urging, she told me to take another test. I took it and it came out positive! I have been trying for 1 1/2 years. I know it was the Gonal-F shots that did it. I did ovulate with the Clomid and had 2 IUI's with no success. I'm still in shock at the moment, and have not had my period it is day 41. I'm 10 days late, I'll get my HCG results on Monday. I know my prayers have been answered. I took my sisters advice and tried not to think about babies or getting pregnant. I took a mini vacation with my husband and had it off my mind, and POW, not i'm expecting!
