My name is Dina I'm 23 and DH is 28. We live in ATL, GA and we are TTC #1 (for us) it will be #3 total (DH has 2 kids). We have been TTC since Jan 2005 and no luck yet. I've had an irregular AF this whole year so far. Last cycle I was 17 days late, cycle before that I was 12 days late and now so far I am 5 days late. I tested 2 or so days before AF was due and of course I got the typical Neg. I am so sick of seeing one line instead of two, "Not Pregnant" instead of "Pregnant" it was starting to feel like it was never going to happen. Everyone around me is getting preg and I'm always the one living my dreams of being a mom out through their kids. My stepkids are a joy but still nothing like having your own little one. I went to my Dr and we did labs and a physical and everything is fine so I have an appt Weds. to start my Clomid. I am so excited. I've been reading up on Clomid for a while but I wanted to give myself some time before I jump the gun, but now I see we need some help. I am so glad Clomid is available. She said we're going to try Clomid for 3 months. What I want to know from you ladies is this.. how many cycles on Clomid did it take for you all to conceive? What are some of your side effects if any from Clomid?
