Hi!

I know we all here use OPK often when we are trying to predict when we need to have intercourse while using Clomid. =) As far as the Metformin, I am not familiar with that, to be sure I would call your doctor and ask if that drug interacts with the OPK results.

Good luck and welcome to the Clomid Club! I hope your stay is short and sweet. =)

God bless!

Metaformin doesn't interfere with anything. It is not supposed to be any harm if you are pg tho your dr will take you off of it. I hated it because of the side affects. Which I had for about 3 months. Your dr will probably keep you on it until you conceive.

Welcome aboard

Hi Sam,

It is great to meet someone with what seems like similiar cycles. I too get my AF anywhere from day 30-36. I have found OPK to work with predicting ovulation. The girls on this board have also recommended charts temps at the same time so you can really be sure you ovulated. I just started clomid this month and got two lines on the OPK around day CD18. I've read that you can begin to ovulate anywhere from 2-9 days after you have taken your last dose of clomid. When I wasn't on Clomid OPK showed that I have ovulated around CD19, while progesterone tests showed that I didn't ovulate (go figure, that's why I have to take clomid). Well, good luck, the girls on this board are full of information.
