Whats everyone doing for the holidays? I will be having the neighborhood open house party this year. I think everyone is trying to pull me out of my shell. I was asked to have it this time. It should be alot of fun. esp since I grew up in this neighborhood. As long as no one asks "when are ya going to have children???" Dh and I are buying gifts for ourselves this year since we have gone through so much. He bought his Playstation2 and some games. I got a couple of computer games. We got racing jackets(we both like NASCAR). We remodled a room in the house. We have been good to ourselves so far. I hope everyone else is doing the same. Both our birthdays are this month too. We will be going out one day to some place nice. I am the 21 and he is the 26 of Dec. We kind of get jypt on the birthday gifts(he he-I like to joke about it)

my birthday is January 7th (I'll be 36 this time around!!) and by then, no one is ever in the mood for celebrating. Luckily, I'm not a big birthday person

My husband is totally into NASCAR. I really enjoy it too. Mark Martin is his favorite but we both love Michael Waltrip and several others. Who is your favorite?

I am glad that you are going to have that party this year. Sometimes we need a way to come out of our shells!! I'm sure it will be great. Sounds like you will have a great Christmas!

My faves are #1Jeff Gordon. I also like Mark Martin and Bobby Labonte. I'll be 35 this year. It was stange because I was not going to do much decorating or celebrating this year i wanted to buy our games and stuff have our own dinner and just stay home this year after the rough year we had. When we were asked to have this party all of that changed. We bought twice as many decorations as usual. Dhs aunt raises this little boy from her neighborhood who is more-less abandoned. We will have him stay with us this year. We have had fun buying him presents too. I guess it will not be so bad. If I can just make it through Christmas eve with bil and his two babies it will be smooth sailing.
