| Dear ladies,
Thanks for asking about the u/s and for thinking of me, that means sooo much. =)
I had another ultrasound yesterday. The ultrasound was very positive, and we know we owe it to all the prayers. The doctor said the baby's size had increased, and was even measuring ahead by a few days.
It was 7w5d and I was only 7w2d. (ha ha) Amazing. The heartbeat was in the 150's, which is perfect. I was sooo relieved I was crying. We know this little angel has been bathed in prayer this last week. We had so many people praying for us. And for me, having the support from you all was priceless, thank you so much.
Regarding the Subchorionic Hemorrhage, the bleeding has not increased, Praise God!! It seems the bleeding has stopped, and has clotted which is very good. We don't want the clot to grow in size, so the fact the active bleeding has stopped is very good. The doctor also mentioned it appears the uterus maybe starting to reabsorb the bleeding, so that is another answer to prayer.
The doctor was very positive during our visit yesturday, and said she wasn't worried nearly as much. She admitted to us she really thought the baby wouldn't make it after such a severe hemorrhage last week. In her practice, she told us she's seen only one baby survive a bleed like that. So she was expecting a negative outcome with our ultrasound. I am glad she didn't tell me that last week!!
To say the least she was shocked to see how well the baby was doing! We told her we had many, many people praying for us and she said "prayer works, I'm a firm believer in it". She told us she wants me to remain on bedrest for a while longer until we are "out of the clear" and the blood in the uterus is gone. We want the blood to be completely re-absorbed, so it won't cause any problems latter. I will return again in a week for another ultrasound, and we'll see how things look then.
Anyhow, thank you girls for your kind words and prayers, it means so much. I'm keeping you all in my prayers!
Love Donna

Hello, I just signed on. Best wishes to you Donna!
A quick question if anyone can help. I have had 5 IUI's. What were some of your side effects? I've had alot of cramping and also a rash the last round. Can you still get pregnant if you have a prostiglandin reaction? |
