Response to Trivia for Seabat

I was in Evansville the fall of 1943, haven't been back since. I didn't know about lST's at the time, but did know about the P-47's manufactured at one end on the Municipal airport there. The Piper Cubs we flew for Civilian Pilots Training at the time were hangered at one end of the field. There is nothing as threatening as a P-47 using the some field as a Piper Cub. Evansville at the time was the main place for soldiers from Camp Breckinrige to come on weekends. A very interesting and busy little city. It is an ideal spot for LST 325, and I look forward to visiting it in the future, say 2006. The people of Evansville treated me great at the time.
