| Arrived at Buzzard Bay last night. First time we saw land in 4 days.
At 6:45 a.m. Boats Voges had us all on deck swabbing. We're all working long hours but we wouldn't have it any other way. High adventure on LST 325!
At sea we encountered the French aircraft carrier Charles DeGaul (their only nuclear carrier). They scrambled two jets to check us out. I think they were afraid of our 40mm. Also a Los Angeles class US attack sub surfaced off our stern Thursday. I have photos and video of both. A school of dolphins escorted us for a while one day. I'll send webskipper some photos. The policeman in charge of dock security is allowing me to use his computer.
Alexandria was a great reception -- had to turn people away at the end of the day each day.
