Are any of you willing to share what your Easter and/or Christmas services were like during your duty? Is there a special memory that any of you are willing to share?

I have a military prayer book that was my Dad's, a gift from our Church when he reported for duty. It was well used. After reading the deck logs I better understand why it was treasured - peace in the middle of the horrors of war for an 18 year old man who had never been very far from home. Many of you experienced the same - or worse.
