LAPTOP survival - for those interested

We are still searching for 2 to 3 laptop donations for the ship.

To answer a few the questions that were raised during the previous post.

We did install a network onboard the ship for the Lousiville trip. We had a laptop in the map room and one in the engine room. This provided us the opportunity to give the engine some real time data that they seemed to enjoy during the trip. We covered the keyboard with saran wrap for the engine room. In discussions with the personnel in the engine there were no problems and we hope to enhance and improve what we started with for the next trip.
