Response to Question for Ken Frank...

Susie,
Gardnar Mulloy was my Dad's Skipper on the LST 32. He was the original Skipper (Plankowner) of the 32. My Dad was also a Plankowner on the 32.
My Dad and any of his shipmates that I have since met thought the world of Mulloy and said he was a great Skipper.
In addition to that, Mulloy is a famous Tennis Pro. He won in doubles at Wimbleton after the war and is in the US Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport Rhode Island. He is alive and well in Miami Florida today and is in his 90s.
He still plays tennis. There is even a Gardnar Mulloy Cup.
His picture during the war and a recent one at one of the 32 renuions is on the LST 32 website. http://home.comcast.net/~phbrowne/index.htm

Ken
