Kenny says "Some people have all the skills. Rob’s LST has twin screws – the doors open by servos – the ramp comes down with chain and the tank comes out under it’s own power.

I don’t know if he can retract from the beach yet.

They play war games with these things and Rob got extra points if he could get a tank on the beach – AND HE DID!"


Rob was able to successfully build a working R/C model of an LST. "I don't have any scale details on it yet, but I have the doors and ramp working, and the ramp maintains watertight integrity - just like the real thing."

Kenny helped Rob with some details to get the model built... the photos show what a great job they did!
