This morning the 50,000th visitor came aboard and toured the ship. Clyde Johnson had the honor of leading the tour. Mr. John Durbin from Lovington, Illinois was the honored guest. He was accompanied by Mrs. Durbin and a party of four. It was surely a wonderful milestone to meet. We can go on now to the 100,000th and then shoot for a million. Evansville Mayor Jonathon Weinsapfel greeted the group and all three network TV stations covered the event. Another great day for the ship and crew. All this and on the day before the ship leaves for and extended visit up the Illinois River. Mr. Durbin is wearing the hat and speaking with Mayor Weinzapfel.
