WE HAD A GREAT VISIT

on Thursday and Friday, October 11 and 12 with Kay Williard and John Pojonous. They were here from the MVPA headquarters located in Missouri to do site visits at the Fair Ground, The Marriott and the LST. They left with a GREAT feeling about Evansville and the 2009 Convention. Several of the 09 commitee members Lance (President of River City Thunderbolts), Tasha, Don and Juanita Graves (who have put together many major conventions for the University of Kentucky) along with Garry and I came up with SEVERAL great ideas and ways to make this endeavor more workable. There will be a lot of work involved but after this visit everyone walked away happy with a convention on its way in 09.
