Response to PEARL HARBOR

We had a ceremony today (Pearl Harbor Day) on LST 325. Local WW2 veterans were special guests. The ship's chief of protocol and ceremony, Bob Lenn, put together a fine program.

-- color guard
-- prayer and speech by Bob Lenn
-- wreath overboard by WW2 vets (thanks to Betty Cashen for the wreath)
-- 21 gun salute (thanks to Jim Voelker's men)
-- bugler doing Taps and Armed Forces Medley (thanks to bugler Millard Wilke)
-- bosam's pipe (Bob Lenn)

Media was there and it will be on all TV channel news tonight.

BRAVO ZULU to Bob Lenn.
