Walker Huffman, President of the Ohio LST Amphibs Association reports that James Leach, President Emeritus of the Ohio LST Amphibs Association had surgery for a blood clot to the brain.
As of today, Jim has been moved to the rehabilitation unit. Jim is awake, alert, eating, and talking. He is weak and will be in the rehabilitation unit for about 30 days, but he IS doing better.
Jim's son, daughters and neighbors are taking care of the farm at the moment, and taking turns visiting him.
All in all, he is doing very well for what he has been through.
Please send a note or card of encouragement to Jim; the family will make sure he receives them:

Jim has done so much for the 325, our Ohio Association and other State Associations; it would be great to shower him with cards to let him know how much we appreciate him and need him back in formation! Most of all, please keep him and his family in your prayers. Please pass the word to other LST'ers who may not be on email. Thanks!
