How about it Seabat? You might see this term used in the Courier in the next week or so. So please enlighten me.

Scuttlebutt has it that when a foreign government, say, the French government, wishes to have a unique, original, vessel present for the 65th D-Day commemoration on UTAH Beach on June 6h, 2009, they might use a Flo Flo.

Such a vessel would have to make it's way to the Gulf of Mexico on it's own power and would then be placed on a Flo Flo and transported across the Atlantic. The USS Cole at 505 ft was transported via this method. It makes for interesting reading. President Obama is scheduled to be at the ceremony.

Stay tuned!
