According to the survey office of Vanderburgh County the ship itself is probably in Kentucky with the office being in Indiana. Their latest airel maps do not show the LST complex so they can't say for sure.
I talked with Linda at the surveyor's office this morning. She said if I could give her the exact GPS coordinates of the Bow And Stern of the ship she could give us a more difinative answer. I will try to do this next time I am aboard. The next GIS mapping ariel survey should show the ship and the LST complex on the maps. (provided we are in port) These are generally taken in winter when the folage is low so we should be in port.
