LST 325 and MV's

What: Loading Military Vehicles on the LST 325
When: August 9, 2009
Where: Evansville, Indiana

The LST 325 and crewmembers invite all military vehicle owners to participate in a once in a lifetime offer. The opportunity to load your rubber tired/tracked military vehicle on the tank deck of this historic vessel. This is one of the Landing Ship Tanks (LST) that was on the beach of Normandy on D-Day. The plan, weather permiting (ie river levels, rain) and enough interest (minium of 100 vehicles preregistered), is to beach the LST on the Ohio river and allow MV's to be loaded and unloaded for a photographic opportunity.
