We are looking for members who are or were employed at General Motors, Caterpillar, Westinghouse, General Electric, and any defense contractor. As part of our effort to solicit gifts for the dry dock fund, we are approaching a number of companies with historic ties to the ship. While there is interest, these companies still would like to know if any of our members are or were employed with the company. If you fall into this group, please contact the ship and let us know immediately. We need to be able to include you in the list of those employed by the company we are soliciting. You do not need to make calls, ask for money, or lead a presentation. Often companies like to give where they employees/retirees are involved. Sharing this information will only strengthen our application. Again, please reach out to the ship and let us know if you were employed with one of the companies listed.
