Many of you may not know that the Armor School at Fort Know moved to Fort Benning Ga well over a year ago. And the Patton museum historical collection of armor tanks were also move to Fort Benning Ga. Leveing the Pattion Museum 75% empty and only the General George S. Patton collection intack. The museum is in the process of rebuilding the exhibits and adding new equipment to the museum. They are kicking around the idea of a peroposed LST exhibit showing the the evacuation of Hungnam South Korea during the Korean War. Dose anyone know if LST-325 took part in this ecacuation, if so we could use a copy of the front bow door section of LST-325 in this exhibit. Also a reminder the WW II LST building at Fort Knox was granted as historical building and can not be torn down and is under the Pattion Museum control. Any info on the Korean War evacuation mission will be welcome. Take care SARG
