To Whom It May Concern:
I would like to know if you still have the ESL teaching vacancies available at your institute. I am a native English speaker from South Africa, with all the necessary qualifications and a wide range of experiences.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) Degree in Foreign Language Studies, a Bachelor of Theology Degree in Islamic Studies, and a T.E.F.L. / T.E.S.O.L. Certificate for ESL teaching. I am also in the process of finishing a Master of Arts Degree.
I have seven years of tertiary level teaching experience, specializing in teaching Arabic as a foreign language and translation studies in English. I also have two years extensive curricula writing/editing/proofreading experience in English. In fact, I am currently working in Riyadh as a curricula writer/editor/proofreader and translator for an international curricula company. I am also the director/founder of the Ubuntu Language, Tourism and Research Institute (ULTRI) that is based in South Africa and specializes in language teaching, translation, research and tourism.
Furthermore, I have played an instrumental role in authoring and co-authoring a number of books and curricula materials in English.
I have a special interest in language teaching, research and translation. My major strengths lie in grammar teaching, research and translation into English. This is because of me being an English native speaker and because of my English writing/editing experience.
