I am a graduate with a BSc Honours in Sociology and Criminology and have excelled since graduating in working with young people and the local community. I am a passionate and hardworking individual who takes pride in providing the most apt service to those in need. I have gained substantial experience while working with young people from a youth centre in helping them with their educational progress as well as providing tutorial support for my young nieces and nephews.
I am currently a Project Assistant of a Young Leadership project in which I have the prime responsibility of providing assistance and administrative support to both young people and funders. It is my responsibility to overlook the entire project and ensure that all milestones are being met. This project enforces me to organise event logistics, liaise constantly with both young people and funders, create and process reports on a monthly basis to funders and identify creative methods in how to lead the project to higher progression. I also have the responsibility of producing assessments and descriptive progress reports based on individuals who are part of the project.
I am currently residing in the UK and am of British National however I would like to relocate to the UAE in order to broaden my horizons and gain a new experience. Being a practising Muslim I’m familiarised with the Gulf culture and its functions, for which reason adaptation within the Gulf is not a problem for me.
I’m a skilled, patient and relaxed person who works towards achieving high levels of success. A pre-eminent quality I possess is the ability to absorb into any environment and situation. Through my current job at an NGO dealing with safeguarding escalation and preventing harmful liabilities by young people, I have gained extensive knowledge in how to identify a situation and assess the most apt solution.
I strongly believe that I can become a great asset to your institution as I hold the zeal to constantly create effective sources of information and activities. I also feel that I can offer the institution active ways in developing creativity in its strategies and methods of leading the institution to a stronger foundation.
I have immense interest in extracurricular activities and contain a strong passion in aiding the development of young people through various activities. I also recently qualified with a TEFL certificate and 30 hour grammar course. This course provided me a deeper understanding into the vast ways of making a classroom experience more memorable and academically focused at the same time.
Currently I am giving private English classes to women of foreign backgrounds under supervision of the current organisation I work for. I’ve learnt a lot from this experience and have been able to put my skills to practise.
I would like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to apply for a position and hope that I am successful in meeting the requirements needed to join your team as my CV and vision on teaching may reflect.
