Just wondered if it might be an idea to have a couple of sessions on grass - either at the new pitch or under the motorway bridge (Howley Grange) - seeing as training at Leasowes has gone tits up til Sept, most of us haven't set foot on grass since May & we've only got one friendly booked! I know we're nearing the climax of our pre-season schedule but any thoughts!!??

Good idea, Mitch.

Hopefully it'll be sorted out after the friendly vs Cresconinans on Tues/Wed night.

IMHO training over Britannia Park will be the best bet - try and familiarise ourselves with our new home pitch - and how to get to the car park, which can be a bit tricky.

Good, idea. we definatley need a run out or two on grass. lets see if we can set something up for next weekend at Brittania park. Anyway we can sort it out on tues night after the cresconians friendly.

also , has thursday nights been cancelled from now on?

Score with Thursdays is as follows. Edd has been blaggin Leasowes for past 8 weeks or so that we only need 1/4 pitch on Thurs when we actually using 1/2. This has proffited the club £100 + which is very handy for balls and new socks. However Leasowes took this as us only wanting 1/4 pitch and without telling us they have booked the other 1/4 out from 4th Sept.

Argued point, got no where, so only other 1/2 pitch available is on Tuesdays 8-9pm, so wef from 2nd Sept, footy will be at Leasowes at this time.

Will arrange for 2 training sessions on grass when we meet on Tues, assuming can't fix another friendly.
