As the successful but grumpy manager of a top fitba team I can only suggest one striking partnership from your assorted bunch of neer-do-wells.

Shingles and Sadler up front.

You know it makes sense.

Shingles and Sadler - the new SAS.

Never before I have agreed with anything Taggart has had to say bout the footy, but this time he's got it right.

Will hopefully be rolling back the years on Saturday, esp as it'll be my last game for Maple.

Retirement for me, beckons and it would be nice to play in the position I first started out at (before playing as a defender for you lot).

B*****ks to that.

Scottish git doesn't know owt.

My suggestion would be to strengthen the current attacking line and play a 3-4-4 formation.

Au revoir.

I agree with Arsen

Sneak an extra player on up front. Worked for us rugger types against those tricky Samoans.

Just look out for watchful officials.

You could have a "word" with referee before the game, and then you could all go to the pub early.

Worked for me......

.....sort of.

When having a pint with the manager in the pub on Sunday (secret rendezvous), it was expressed that when available, the Lycett Lewis strike partnership is now the preferred option as the luxury players up front simply aren't producing the goods.

Maple have 100% record with Lycett/Lewis up front.
