After securing our first home victory in over 2 seasons. I would just like everone to be together for the big 'promotion' push during the latter half of the season.
This result will undoubtebly send shockwaves throught the AFA division nine and will have the other sides running scared.
Just to add to the joyous occasion , Nick Glover is back to his inspirational best and got off the mark for the season by knocking a very small and weedy goalkeeper off his feet.
A right footed winner 10 yards out from Mr Lycett eh? If only I'd put a bet on that happening instead of LFC beating Spurs...
With 16 games left there is much to play for, and if all goes well maybe Maple won't finish bottom of the League, and due to Maple's recently improved discipline - will snatch a UEFA Cup place through the Fair Play League.
No Gary, Ade & Rob playing - no bookings... intriguing.
Personally I think the win was all down to that young right winger, the youthful forward line and the supersub boy 'Andrez'
Hope Phil T is ok.

Firstly I would like to point out that when it became obvious I was unlikely to top the goals table for the season, I thought that the discipline title was my next best bet. Therefore any cautions or dismissals are entirely intentional.
Secondly, I'll get my flag arm ready for the Smethwick game.

Firstly - Lame excuse Ade
Secondly - that result (whilst not unwelcome) is worse than our previous effort against them, namley a 4-2 win.
Does that mean we are still actually getting worse??
Only joking girls, great stuff & I'll bring my tracky bottoms to keep warm on sat!
