Dear all,

As some of you are already aware, I will not be available on Sat for the Wake green Game. I have been pressured into going to see West Ham V Gillingham at upton park.

I do however have the kit, which has been washed and pressed in readyness for the big game.

As I do not want to fall into the 'Gary Millership' catergory of buggering off with the kit in your car. I will be handing it to Matt to bring on sat.

I would like to think the team will suffer in my absence, but bearing in mind the sitter i missed during the last i think not.

I will be present for the rest of the season to add my defensive minded midfield presence.

Oh, and by the way , if you cant beat wake green - then you are all a bunch of losers....

Strange that no-one remembers washing the blue kit, or taking the yellow kit home with them and NOT having to wash it (with exception of the 'Gary Millership Defence').

May be helpful if anyone can remember when we last wore the blue kit too - so we can have a look at the players who were there that week - and give them all a 'gentle reminder' to have a look for it...

I seem to remember us using the blue kit in the first 2-1 win at home against Riverside. We left the changing room in the yellow kit, but saw their kit and opted to change to the blue kit.

Actually, it was a 4-2 win, so with a memory like that, perhaps you shouldn't trust my recollection!!

Team for the that 4-2 Cup game:-

Evans, Lewis, Randle, Asante-Boakye (Varley), Millership, Glover, Mitchell, Lycett, Campbell, Homer(Walker).

WANTED - 2 players with shite memories of taking big sports bags home with them.

Maybe Maple should include the name of the kit washer for every week in the Match Reports section.
