I'm reading the scam on assembling jewelries (bracelets) and I just received a letter from a "Bela Jewellery". The way some have stated their experiences from the "Show Jewellery" is the same as what is being stated in the letter I received telling me that there are only 73 positions available, that I have to pay through either credit card, or cheque or, money order, and even cash the amount of $79.90 (Enrolment fee $47 + Start-up package $29.95 + s/h $2.95). I'm glad I came to this site otherwise I will also be enroling and ordering stuffs to assemble.
I sent Bela Jewellery $80 a few weeks ago and have yet to receive anything. It says you will have your package in 3-5 days. I looked up the address on their web page 841/2 Adelaide St and that address is for Mail Box ETC. Its a SCAM and I wasted my money
I just read a posting and the woman claims she throughly researched bella jewellry and can find no such person as tracy anderson (vice president bella) or any such person as Carl Anderson no record of him even at the university of Alberta where he supposedly graduated. This is highli illegal and looks like identity theft as well.
Yes, I ordered the package and it's a HUGE SCAM. The
bracelets are soooo small ..it's almost impossible to put one together...the pieces are TINY..That's why they don't put the picture of the bracelets on their site....
Hi,
My name is Lola. I got the same e-mail , and you are the only person who said that its true, that it works. Well my question is: Does it really work they way they discribe it?
Do you you have to pay for anything else after you pay the 80$ for the start kit? DId they actually pay you?
DON'T ANYBODY FALL FOR THAT!!! i paid them that $79.90 and yes i did receive a small package from them within one week... bunch of useless tiny beads and two piece of wires they call tools!!! what a rip off!!! and that is true that it's impossible to make one of those.. must take like two days or more to make one... and you do have to pay more after that start up fee.. for the actually materials to make 30 pieces... so if you recieved that letter rip it up and trash it.. meanwhile.. i'm going to track them down and sue them or something....
I can't believe I fell for that BS... I paid $80.00 for my start up package - and then proceeded with purchasing the materials to make the bracelets.... Just before writting this I wrote a letter to them requesting a refund for the merchandise they never shipped me, however, they did cash the cheque on April 28, 2006... They better pay me back I wrote in my letter that if they didn't pay me back prior to June 15 2006 that I would proceed with further action... Give me my money back!!!! DO NOT SEND ANYHTING TO BELA JEWELLERY - UNLESS IT's A LETTER REQUESTING A REFUND!
Caroline,
I almost fell for it too, so don't feel so bad. It does sound like a simple thing to do to make a few bucks in your spare time, but I think that's the beauty of this scam. They give you enough reality to feel that you won't be a millionaire, but that you've stumbled on a way to make some spare cash. That's what attracted me to this, but on further research, I found out about the scam!
