If you are sruggling to get website traffic try these suggestions.

Try traffic exchanges. There are some listed here: http://g-o-shop.com/shop/manualsurfprog.htm

Also, you should consider always using a signature with a link to your website whenever you post on a forum. This will give you a one-way link to your website which can increase the popularity of your website.

Lastly, consider posting ads on free classified ads. This will also give you one-way links to your website, but don't count on anyone seeing your ads. Most people who visit free classifieds are advertisers.

I have never had any luck with trafic exchanges. The traffic I get to my blog is all natural and direct. You get a better quality of person from direct searches or recommended links.
