Response to Footage of Bruce in actual Karate tournament

That's good we have some names! But these names "Mullins" and Norris" are from what tournament then? Because Lewis and Norris did compete, but there are specific dates for that right? What I am saying is that couldn't you be referring the names to some other well known fights? Maybe we should dig up the '67 fight where Norris won and see how they fought then? I am not doubting your suspicions, but the dates it seems are very crucial.

"When was Bruce ever even remotely "stocky"? He was a lightweight"

In his early Gung Fu years circa the Big Boss. I mean his legs were not as thick as they appear to be in this footage. But let me ask you something here: Watch carefully when the first guy attacks!

I find it strange that the first guy only gives left lead kicks! In the Joe fight (bottom pics) Joe Lewis contantly switches leads. But here I find it quite interesting: He turns around each time and prepares his stance before fighting again. This is consistent with other Lewis footage.

Now look at the first guy. After each kick he does the same thing: face his opponent and walk backwards to his mark. Then he sets up in traditional Lee form (obviously using no form as a form, no tradition as tradition LOL). Now I ask you to watch the FOX screen test. This is how Lee addresses the tall guy after each demo for the camera. A stricking similarity. Joe Lewis never, in the footages we've seen ESPECIALLY this one, does this. He is too busy fixing his outfit that is a size to small whereas the first guy has his outfit tucked in. Pic "F".

We still need dates and locations where we can place this footage.

Thanks,
Kioko
