Response to Re: Will Johnston and Andrew Staton commentary on the Big Boss DVD

"how come its called "Big Boss", yet in chinese it means this?? Im lost"

Virtually all Chinese films have different English titles from their Chinese counterparts. However, there are some exceptions, such as Game of Death's Chinese title, "Sei Mong Yau Hei", which literally means "Death Game".

Of course, Tong Saan Daai Hing/Tang shan da xiong word for word translates as "Tong Mountain Big Brother", or in a literal sense, "Big Brother from the 'Tong Mountain'", with the "Tong Mountain" being a, more or less, "nickname" for China.
