Hi everyone,
I'm in the market to purchase Bruce Lee's Hong Kong films on DVD and I was wondering which were the best to get. I've decided not to go with the 30th Anniversary HKL Box Set and want to buy each one individually since they seem to be on sale at the moment. My question is which ones do fans recommend? There are the 2-disc platinum editions and the regular "special edition" versions from HKL. I'm most interested in getting the ones with Bey Logan's commentary. Should I bother with the platinum versions? (Do they also include Logan's commentary track?) I've read mixed reviews here and elsewhere about them and I'm more interested in getting the ones with the best video quality and the non-English dubbed soundtrack -- though, from what I understand, the latest HKL DVDs do not offer the original mono soundtrack. Any suggestions?
Thanks! | |
