Response to Screen Capture

"I think that this screen capture was done by someone in Turkey who claimed to have the original Turkish theatre negatives, which was supposed to be a fully uncut version of "The Big Boss" with allot of extra extended and unseen scenes. From what I remember was that he sent out an e-mail with this picture which I know some of us got. What happened afterwards was that he suddenly just disappeared when asked for picture proof of more screen captures like the "Saw in the Head", "Burning Cart", etc. scenes - which he promised to provide, but never did..."

There's a surprise. If this is true, then at least it means that not only is there a print of the uncut (or at least less cut) print of the film, but that it looks to be in good shape. If anything, I thought we'd be lucky if it even looked as good as the trailer. Then again, it could just be a higher quality print of the trailer... which would be a bit nice as well just for the hell of it.

One day I would like to see a post that says "The uncut Big Boss... THE DAYS ARE NUMBERED!" and see brand new screencaps from the uncut print, showing not only the three scenes from the trailer, but all of the other scenes (maybe not the saw scene, I've learned to live without it by this point) in high quality screencaps.

And yeah, I've been a bit suspicious about the unreleased Video Asia DVD having any actual extra scenes. But, it would be nice to see that someday as well just to hear the original "classic style" English dub.
