Bruce planned on working in both the US and Hong Kong. The book Tom Bleecker authored is about 30% accurate. When it comes to some authors, they like to do a negative take, just as Stephen Davis did with his book on Led Zeppelin, he entitled, "Hammer of the Gods".
You take some basic facts as the outline for a book and blend in fiction and you have a tabloid-style manuscript that is guaranteed to sell and make millions of dollars. Not to mention some figures who also stir up fictional stories who are promised to get paid royalties after the book is published. There is really no good ethics and integrity on behalf of the writers who authored these published works as two examples I listed above.
And one other factor that is very negative in their behalf. When the author takes his life's problems, whether it be steriod addiction ( Bleecker ) or revenge for not getting his scoop with the band ( Davis ) and painting it over the famous star is absolutely in the catagories of yellow journalism and unethical writing traits. Hardly what I'd call professional.
