I think the BBLA did a GREAT job to be honest & I fully appreciate not being able to get certain guests, get film prints, etc.

Some people expect way to much, for 10 squid an event that's nothing, worth it just to meet other fans and talk.

What is the www. for the other sire then action asia or something on other stars as well? Cannot find it anywhere.

Remember too , Andrew Staton was involved / arranged / & or interviewed all JKD names coming to UK for seminars - Chris Kent, Dan Inosanto, Larry Hartsell, etc, during the 80's.

So is the BBLA approved by the Bruce Lee Foundation even though not official? As when I met people at BLF they told me - we shut down Carl Fox's website & are monitoring his activities, if he opens a site or does things like that again we will launch full legal action, even if it occurs years from now, he was notified and warned by letter. What website or domain were they on about, not the BBLA one I hope?

All being said Andrew Staton is one weird guy, very grumpy & moody, then all nice & your best buddy the next. He really turns on the charm or tries to with the celebs, you should have seen him with Diana Inosanto at Seni, dear oh dear! Remember asking him something once at Seni about a planned Bruce Lee musical in the works, he just snapped 'maybe could happen' looked away and broke wind loudly, then looked back with a look as if to say you still here, not nice behaviour and the breaking wind was just bizarre. But maybe he has a 'lot on his plate' and his mood varies with that I don't know.

BOTTOM LINE : BBLA NEVER ripped off fans like Shaolin Video / Bruce Lee Culb / Martial Club did in the UK!!! With crappy videos for 25/30 each. Whatever happened to them anyway, Chris Alexis, etc?
