IKF has the right to use Bruce Lee's image again, after a long period of absence from the JKD scene. They had a run in with Shannon Lee a few years back, which is when they stopped publishing Jeet Kune Do articles and anything having to do with Bruce Lee. They also eliminated all of their JKD books and videos (Unique). Shannon realized how much this was hurting her efforts with the BLF, so she decided to start letting them publish Bruce Lee/Jeet Kune Do related material again.
They almost didn't do it, but decided that it would be for the best of all concerned. Now they are about to re-do the Jun Fan/Jeet Kune Do Textbook and Jeet Kune Do Kickboxing books for re-release. Tim Tackett is working with them on that project. They are also about to release some Jeet Kune Do DVDs by Tim Tackett.
As for Poteet, Jerry got his foot in the door really good with Dave Cater at IKF a long time ago, thus his "king of the hill" status with them. I will be submitting some articles to them in the near future. We'll see what happens at that time. They have never refused an article from me before, and I've had many in their publications!
