In my opinion, anyway. I liked Remembering the Master. It's basically a bunch of essays by various friends, students, & acqaintences (did I misspell that?) of Bruce & James Lee, personal recollections (several from people I'd never heard from before). I'd recommend it if it's not too expensive (think I paid around $12.00, definitely worth that price).
As for the other two, they were kind of interesting in that they did try to cover in detail Bruce's years in Oakland, but they were poorly (some might say stupidly) & unconvincingly written, & featured only a few photos, not of particularly good quality. I'd recommend checking them out from a library before thinking about buying them. |
