Where was anything said about Ed Parker teaching Bruce chi sao? It said Bruce & Ed practiced chi sao together & that Ed apparently modified chi sao/sticky hands to suit his system better at some point, didn't it? I also don't see the guy anywhere saying that he beat Bruce, only that the kenpo skills he'd learned from Ed were enough that their sparring sessions weren't onesided (meaning Bruce completely dominating him). That's how I read it, anyway. I think reading something like this is good for diehard Bruce Lee fans, reminds us that some martial artists who met & trained with him didn't view him as god-like... maybe he was only human afterall.
