Unless it was poisoned. According to the people that I have talked to (that have actually read the autopsy report), it was marijuana that was found in his body at autopsy. Not hashish. Fact is, it was only a small amount of marijuana at that. Anyway, Bruce had been using marijuana for years before July 1973.
As to whether or not equagesic was present on May 10, in my opinion, is a non issue. Bruce had taken the ingredients that make up equagesic in other medications long before he died.
As for this statement:

Where is this documented? I have researched this at length and can't find any evidence to support this. Anyway, the above statement is a total non issue when you consider the fact that hash was not present at autopsy. End of the hashish theory.
Here is a nice read about cannabis related deaths. The fact is, there are none. According to this report, there has not been one single documented fatality caused by using cannabis. Enjoy.
