I have a questions regarding Longstreet and looking for some input.
Regarding Bruce's offer for the three remaining Longstreet episodes. Some sources claim Paramount offered him a deal (after they were impressed with his performance in The Intercepting Fist episode) during the last remaining days/weeks of filming The Big Boss, while others claim it wasn't until filming had ended and he returned to Hong Kong (before heading back to LA) to pick up his telegrams and messages. Linda had claimed in her book (1974) that while Bruce was in Pak Chong filming BB she was dealing with his affairs/offers and phone calls etc on his behalf. She must have also written to him during this time as one of Bruce's letters to her request she send a photo of herself and Brandon.
Therefore, my first question is: Does anyone know when and where did Bruce first get offered to re-appear in Longstreet and was it before or after the first episode aired on 16 September 1971? Was he informed of this offer by Linda or by Paramount by telegram or phone call?
