I began to lose interest in HKL basically when Bey Logan (& company) went elsewhere. I don't know anything about the circumstances of these departures, but it seems to me that HKL went from being by fans for fans to a company that was cutting costs (though not prices) in order to take advantage of the loyal market the previous "owners" had built up. It's still kind of sad to see the label go but Dragon Dynasty (with Bey's help) seems to be picking up where they left off, here's hoping business is good enough for them to be around for a long time.
Regarding HKL recent dvds, does anyone out there have there latest 2 disc edition of The Big Boss? I'm considering buying it used, would anyone mind sharing their opinion of it? Is it a significant improvement over their previous edition? Are the extras interesting? Thanks for any info.
