On Apr 9th and 10th, 1970, Bruce Lee performed on HK-TVB and RTV. He was assisted by students of HK Karate master, Larry Lee Gam-Kwan alias Lee Chin Kun. Larry was also present in these 2 shows. Before the show, Bruce practised and rehersed in "Okinawa Goiuryu Karatedo Kugekai" (Karate school). The president of this school was Bruce's old friend, Cheng Kwun-Min who was also a famous comedy actor in HK Cantonese movie. Through Cheng, Bruce was acquainted with the Karate school's coach of 2nd degree black belt, master Larry Lee. Both Bruce and Larry had a pleasant relationship from then on.

In return of Larry's favor to Bruce, Bruce gave him a 8mm film of the Apr 9th and 10th shows (he got someone taped off the tv camera) after returning to the U.S. This may be one of the surviving complete footage taken from the shows. Another similar footage has surfaced for several years but lasted only around 5 min and the image was blur and incoherent.
Larry kept this treasure with him since then and would not sell to anyone at any offer. (source: Okinawa Goiuryu Karatedo Kugekai's 30th anniversary publication)

Larry had acted in few action movies in the 1970s and is still coaching in the Karate school even in his 70s (Strong and tough old man).

Here is another link of young Larry in the 95' documentary,"Top Fighter" directed by Toby Russell and written by George Tan:
