Response to Dragon’s footsteps on the world map

Hi LJF!
I've got a few queries for you of which you
may be able to help.
It's in relation to a Bruce Lee fan letter
that I read back in the 1980s.
Do you remember the Bruce Lee JKD Hong Kong magazines
of the 1970s that opened up into a poster?
They did about 14 issues I think.
Anyway, I had some and I read one of the
fan letters and this man was from Yorkshire.
It was a lovely letter and seemed highly credible
considering the time period he wrote about.
He was a martial artist and he was in London
in 1971 and was doing some jogging in which I think was
Hyde park or some other London park.
He remembers someone shouting him from behind and
asking him would he mind jogging with him.
They eventually got talking about martial arts
and he remembers this Chinese guy kicking one
of the tree branches off.
Before they parted, he said the Chinese guy gave him
a little business card and also that he took home a
little bird that had it's leg broken.

After they left he didn't think anything on it until
4 years or more after when he was in a cinema watching
Enter The Dragon.
He kept thinking where he'd heard the name on the screen
from before until he found that little business card
he still had in his house.
There on the front of the card was the name Bruce Lee.
It seems to tie in with Bruce being in London around 71.
Do you or anyone you know have them magazines?
If so, then check them out under the fan letters column.
I always remember this and I'm 48 now!
Please let me know how you go because I know
you have a large amount of knowledge on Bruce.
Best Wishes LJF.

Tony
