This extra original name is Marc Mete Kingi and is a Maori from New Zealand. According to Piet Schweer, Marc used to manage a bistro in HK in the 70’s. Piet said although he is brawny and looks fierce but he is in fact, a super nice and friendly person.
In addition, a New Zealander by the name of Corey Mcmurtrie said Marc was once his stand in teacher at high school. Marc was rough as gutts and used to throw chairs at the students if they pissed him off. Who would know that this man was once a full-time high school teacher when not singing and performing. Like other Maori, he is generally very talented when it comes to music and singing. He told Mcmurtrie that he did a bit of training with Bruce while he was in filming WOTD in HK (probably Bruce gave some tips in self-defense skills to the ‘Gweilos’ extras). He also told Mcmurtrie that he believed Bruce was poisoned to death.
By the way, Piet Schweer said he is currently busy and 3 weeks ago (Jan 13) he was under way on the Red River in Vietnam and have Internet access only if he passes a larger village. So, fans may need to have more patience to read his overdue part 5 article – ‘The Way I Saw It.’
