Response to GAME’s screentest & behind-scenes with Bruce Lee

According to Cheung Yiu-Jo (the assistant cameraman of GH/Concord back in early’73), he had helped Bruce shot the screentest in Han’s trophy room as well as Bruce and stuntmen rehearsals in the mirror room. Cheung told CF Fung (HK BL Researcher) in late 90s, "After Robert Clouse and his U.S. crew left upon completing the ETD’s mirror’s scene shooting in late March, Bruce stayed behind and did a closed-door mirror shooting in this uniquely created mystical set which cost the studio about HK$60,000 to build it. Bruce was likely experimenting some fighting choreography with his stuntmen in a mirror scene. It took about 2 days for the experimental filming. In another occassion, we shot the Han’s Trophy Room’s screentest and rehearsals meant for GAME with Sifu Wong Shun-Leung and his student Wam Kam-Leung together with Wu Ngan and a young stuntman under Bruce’s supervision. Bruce was busy choreographing in-front and behind the camera. It took about 3 days to complete. Quite an amount of footage was shot in those 2 sets as Bruce was a perfectionist who was demanding in choreography and filming."

(Note: Cheung Yiu-Jo was the cameraman for “BL, The Man & The Legend”(1973) and his older brother, Peter Cheung was the film editor of GH)
