Both Uyehara and Jhoon Rhee said they didn't want to fight or got entangled with Lee because Lee knew your thought before you could make your move. It's just like the cat toying with the mouse. They had sparred him and simply thought it was a nightmare because they were kept being 'toyed' by Lee. Lee moved like snake, he could just slapped your head, touched your cheek and appeared less than an inch infront of you from several meters away within a second. Of course, his reflexes was the result of his hardwork and the intercepting thought was the result of his mastering of the human pyschology. When asked about whether Lee was a genius in martial arts, Uyehara thought no, he was not born genius. Lee was just an ordinary guy with so much flaws but he simply worked himself to overcome all adversities and become the giant in martial arts.
