In hindsight we can learn from other's mistakes. Bruce was just hit from all sides, outside influences and inner stresses. Just speaking on stress, it's certainly a silent killer, and has triggered heart attacks, high blood pressure incidents... I recall a German doctor who studied disease origins and he could pinpoint the onset of the disease from a particular stress event.
Adrenal fatigue syndrome (AFS): stress triggers adrenal glands to secrete cortisol -- stress fighters. Continued stress will overload the system and the adrenals no longer secrete cortisol. This can lead to breakdown in immune system, high fatigue levels, anxiety, depression, fluctuating blood sugar and many other problems. Couple AFS with all the strange practices of electronic shock machines, sweat gland removal, hashish and the sad fact that BL always had to be physically super active in order to maintain his skill level.
