Congratulations to the Chinese - who did extremely well, and who did put on a great event despite a few hiccups.

And to all the other competitors as well. There were some truely great performances.

And a special big slap on the back to Team GB for their best Olympics performance in 100 years!

China did a great job in this Olympics.

The Brits will manage to phuck it up in 2012 though. They always do.

GB belongs to western world. No matter what GB does, western media will be silent. This is GB's priviledge. But actually, Security will be a tough job for GB. Terror attacks are not such a severe issue in China. Bin Laden and his followers can be easily recognized in other areas in china. HAHAHA!So, they can only bomb their hometowns.

The Brits and Americans whined like biches leading up to the Athens 2004 games. Said the Greeks weren't spending enough on security, even though Greece has practically no terorist issues in the last few decades and gets along with most Moslem nations very well.

But the whining of the Anglo Saxons (including the Aussies) and last minute veiled threats to not recommend their tourists to travel to the games forced Greece to spend another $ 1 Billion on an American company state-of-art security system.

Top it off the god-damed thing never worked as advertised but the criticism stopped immediately once Athens got shaken down for the extra 1 Billion dollars. Naturally the only security problem at the 2004 games was a drunk Irish Priest who tackled the Marathon leader-he came to Athens through Heathrow Airport, of course.

London is going to have to pay through the nose for their security. Whatever they budget the Greeks should scream it isn't enough and demand more or they'll keep the Olympic flame from travelling to London. It's time for a little well-earned payback on the Brits!!

Of course, if they want to hire a Greek Security Company for 1 Billion EURO's we can reconsider planned actions to boycott the games.

Good grief! How stupid are you?

Obviously, like you, the Greek organisers weren't bright enough to realise that large gatherings of Americans, Brits & other western countries are a target themselves - regardless of whatever Greek appeasement you think would keep terrorists subdued.

Remember Bali?

Or even more importantly, remember Munich!

Or do you think that Black September killed eleven Israelis at the 1972 Games as a protest against Germany?

And 2/3rds of those medals are from cheating. Such as using under age girls for gymnastics.

The Japanese women have a congenital defect in their legs-it's pigeon-toes or a club foot. Quite a few of them have it, you see it when they're walking on the streets and train stations.

I thought I was just imagining how common it was, then a German colleague I was travelling with in Japan commented on it as well. Maybe 1 in 10 women have it to some degree.

Is that common in China as well?
