Yes, I know I've taken some liberties with the headline, but am I the only person who finds it hilariously funny that Mr New Labour himself - Tony Blair - is telling the Catholic Church how it must change its views?
Is there nothing in life that New Labour doesn't believe it knows more about than anyone else?
They know more about the Catholic God's wishes than the Pope?
I'm an athiest and I don't really care what people who believe in imaginary beings think, but if I was a Catholic I'd be wanting to hear God instructing Tony Blair and not the other way round.
Any God that turned round and said "You know what, Tony, I hadn't thought of that. Wait a moment while I change a few pages in this bible" isn't any sort of God I'd have much faith in.
