Or you can install pplive, ppStream or CCTVBox software (all are free and using p2p).

Are you kidding us?

As a Chinese who is now living in a free western country, you should be doing your best to boycott this stuff so that the rest of your the Chinese people can enjoy the same privileges as you.

You should be protesting it, not inviting people to it!

And, in any case who (apart from some misguided Chinese) would be really interested in watching it anyway?

I suggest you don't watch it. It will make you very sad. Your country got independent even before PRC, but still around half of kids in your country are experiencing mal-nutrition problem and more than 2 million of kids of less than 5 years old in your country are dying each year.

Well I'm a Chinese living in California and I just watched it. It was a great celebration. Why on earth would Chinese protest this event? China has come a long way and this 60th anniversary meant more than just being under communist rule, you wouldn't understand. Heck, even the empire state building was lit up in red to commemorate the 60th anniversary of CCP. That my friend is what the Chinese have achieved influence, power and face.
